ABOUT US

Revolutionizing the way health systems adopt and govern AI.

Empowering health systems to safely and responsibly adopt AI by providing comprehensive oversight—registering, testing, governing, benchmarking and monitoring AI across the enterprise.

OUR STORY

AI is transforming healthcare, but managing dozens of tools and vendors has created new risks and complexity. Many health systems lack the visibility and governance needed to stay in control.

Vitea (pronounced vie-tee-uh) helps health systems confidently manage AI from vendor selection through deployment and monitoring.Built by the co-founders of Jvion, Vitea brings deep clinical AI experience to responsible adoption at scale.

Our diverse team of passionate professionals is dedicated to delivering excellence at every step of the way.

Shantanu Nigam
CEO
Ryan Paravate
Shantanu Nigam
CEO
After successfully selling Jvion, the largest prescriptive AI SaaS solution at the time, to JMI Equity in 2018, Shantanu co-founded an investment fund (SeedtoB Capital) to invest in and scale next-generation AI solutions in healthcare. Through this work, he identified a critical market gap: while AI adoption was exploding, health systems lacked the infrastructure to govern, monitor, and control it effectively. As the co-founder and CEO of Vitea, Shantanu is focused on defining the category of AI governance for healthcare, driving platform innovation, go-to market plan and strategic partnerships. He leads Vitea’s vision to become the operating system for AI governance, enabling health systems to safely scale AI with visibility, control, and compliance. Prior to Vitea, Shantanu held leadership positions at SeedtoB Capital and Jvion, and began his career at Accenture advising health systems on large-scale digital transformation.

Ritesh Sharma
COO
As the co-founder and COO of Vitea, Ritesh brings years of AI leadership and strategy to the team. After successfully selling Jvion, the largest prescriptive AI SaaS solution at the time serving more than 400 U.S. hospitals, he co-founded an investment fund (SeedtoB Capital) focused on bringing AI solutions to healthcare. While managing the fund, Ritesh recognized that AI is transforming healthcare, yet there isn’t a platform to manage the AI. Along with Shantanu, Ritesh co-founded Vitea to address the growing need for AI governance and monitoring across the U.S. healthcare system. At Vitea, Ritesh oversees business development and client success with a focus on empowering clients to confidently and safely adopt AI. Prior to Vitea, Ritesh held leadership positions at SeedtoB Capital and Jvion. He also spent time at Accenture early in his career.
